If You Have Numbness, You Are Losing This
Numbness can be startling and scary. A sudden or gradual loss of sensation in an arm, hand, leg or foot can make a person feel hopeless because they don’t know why it is happening or what is causing it to occur.
If you are experiencing numbness you are losing sensory function of a nerve. Sensory nerves send information back to the brain about various sensations we feel, such as the texture and temperature of the things we touch, where our body parts are in space and when our body is being damaged.
A loss of sensation, or numbness, is usually caused by a damaged, irritated or pinched nerve. Posture and spine misalignments are a common cause of nerve damage leading to numbness. Nerve damage in the spine can even contribute to organ dysfunction.
We take a unique and different approach to treating numbness. First, we determine what is causing the numbness. Then we implement a system of care that can help our patients achieve phenomenal results in a relatively short period of time.
