Are You Eating Cancer? Part 1: The Foods That Feed Cancer

Many of you are pursuing cancer and don’t even know it. Cancer is not something that just happens due to a stroke of bad luck. It is very often what is on your plate that creates and feeds cancer growth. In this article, we talk about how cancer develops from certain foods we eat and the top 6 foods that feed cancer.

Cancer is the second leading cause of death in the U.S. and so common that 1 out of every 4 people are getting cancer. Until now, it has seemed to be a mystery why some people get cancer while others do not. In the last few years, researchers have found a mechanism in which certain foods create and feed cancer cells to grow into massive tumors.

How Cancer Develops
There is an inflammatory chemical in our body called prostaglandin E2 (PGE2). If the levels of this chemical are high enough for a long enough period of time, it transforms a normal, healthy cell into a cancer cell. PGE2 is produced from eating too much arachidonic acid. Many of you are eating foods that contain or convert to arachidonic acid once inside your body. Some of the worst culprits are fried foods, such as French fries, chips and other processed foods that are cooked or processed with bad vegetable oils (corn, cottonseed, peanut, sunflower, safflower).

Another ingredient in processed food and sweetened beverages that produces PGE2 and promotes cancer growth is sugar. Avoiding added sugar in your diet is imperative if you want to avoid cancer and most other diseases.

Cancer, like most diseases, is an inflammatory disease. Any foods you eat that cause systemic inflammation in your body will promote cancer growth! Sugar and vegetable oils are the worst offenders!
