Ginger Tea (Anti-Inflammatory)

Soda (regular or diet) and other sugary drinks promote disease.  This beverage contains no sugar, is full of flavor, fights disease and helps keep you healthy.  

The compounds (catechins) in green tea are antioxidants, anti-cancer, anti-heart disease, and increase fat burning because it boosts metabolism.  

Ginger is a powerful, natural anti-inflammatory spice that is also anti-cancer and anti heart disease.

 

Spicy Green Tea with Ginger

Boil 1 Gallon of filtered water 

Add 1/4 to 1/2 pound of sliced fresh ginger root and continue to boil for 5 minutes
(we recommend starting with 1/4 pound and increasing to 1/2 pound if you like it spicier)

Remove from heat, add 4-6 organic green tea bags and cover the pot 

Remove the tea bags after they steep for 30-60 minutes

Keep the pot covered and let the ginger soak for 4-12 hours

Strain out the ginger and place tea in a glass jar or BPA-free plastic container in the refrigerator 

Drink cold or reheat
